Promotional Guidelines for UFC 301 Complying pay: Jose Aldo receives $21,000 for possible last-round UFC match

Rio de Janeiro: A total of $280,000 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance money was awarded to fighters from Saturday’s UFC 301 event.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers allocate the funds from Venum’s multi-year sponsorship agreement with the UFC to fighters based on the total number of UFC bouts they have won as well as fights in the WEC (January 2007 and later) and Strikeforce (April 2011 and later) eras of Zuffa.

According to officials, UFC fighters will get perpetuity royalties, which equate to 20–30 percent of any UFC gear sold that features their likeness, in addition to experience-based compensation.
