The CCMP COP29 Reporting Fellowship Program is now open to journalists covering the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29). The Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) is happy to introduce this program. More than 500 journalists have been invited by the CCMP to cover the yearly UN climate talks.

Applications for admission to the UN Climate Change Conference in Baku in 2024 are open to applicants from low- and middle-income nations. Twenty journalists from low- and middle-income nations, as well as journalists from the Balkans, the Baltics, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, are to be brought in by the CCMP Reporting Fellowship to cover the entire conference in person. Eligibility Criteria

 

• Technical assistance and informative materials will be provided to fellows to aid in their conference reporting preparation.
• Become a professional journalist or work for a reputable media outlet in a low- or middle-income nation.
• Find the full list of the eligible countries defined by the World Bank.
• Have the ability to travel, arriving on November 9 and leaving no earlier than November 24, 2024.
