PCB Announced The T20 World Cup Coaching Staff
In an effort to improve the team’s performance, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the coaching staff for the forthcoming T20 World Cup. This group of professionals combines expertise and specialization.
Veteran cricketer Gary Kirsten of South Africa has been named the team’s head coach for white-ball cricket, adding a plethora of international experience. Former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood, who assumes the post of assistant coach, will support him.

Aftab Khan is the high-performance coach, David Reid is the coach of mental performance, and Simon Helmot is the coach of fielding. Cliffe Deacon, the physiotherapist, will be in charge of the team’s physical health, and Drikus Saaiman will be in charge of strength and conditioning.
Mansoor Rana, the team manager, will provide direction and coordination to the team structure, while Wahab Riaz will serve as the senior team manager. As the top security officer, Irtaza Komail will be in charge of security, and Mohammad Imran will be the team masseuse.
Talha Ijaz will serve as the squad’s analyst, and team doctor Muhammad Khurram Sarwar will oversee the team’s medical needs. Digital communications and the media will be handled by Raza Kitchlew.
The PCB released an update on fast bowler Haris Rauf, who has been out due to a shoulder ailment, in addition to revealing the coaching staff.
Prior to Pakistan’s match against England in the second Twenty20 International at Edgbaston, Haris has demonstrated remarkable form during the practice sessions in the nets, as confirmed by the latest statement from the PCB.
The World Cup campaign for Babar Azam’s team will start in Dallas on June 6 against co-host USA. On June 9 and June 12 in New York, they will play matches against India and Canada. June 16 in Florida is their last league game versus Ireland.
