Charles Barkley is sorry that Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’s friendship ended due to “messy” family turmoil.

Charles Barkley visited Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay to candidly discuss his thoughts on Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, and his relationship with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa.

Barkley immediately revealed his actual emotions when Shannon asked him if he would feel anything at all if he were in Jordan or Pippen’s position. And the Round Mound of Rebound exclaimed, “Hell yeah!”

The former Chicago Bulls running back Scottie Pippen’s connection with Michael was negatively impacted by Larsa and Marcus’s relationship, which is why the legendary NBA player expressed sympathy for Michael.

“If you win six (championships) together, y’all should be damn near blood brothers, so that’s the thing I feel most bad.”

Rather, the Hall of Famers became mired in the drama of reality TV. After divorcing Scottie in 2021, Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen intermittently dated Marcus, sometimes known as “Heir Jordan,” from 2022 to 2024.

Together, the pair had an appearance on the Peacock TV program The Traitors, and in 2023 they even started a podcast called Separation Anxiety about their love. They broke up around Valentine’s Day in 2024, proving that the title was prophetic. But their relationship’s history of back and forth always leaves the possibility of a rekindling open.

Air Jordan made it obvious that the relationship affected him when he told a TMZ photographer in 2023 that he disapproved of Marcus and Larsa’s union. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to avoid the unpleasant situation that ensued with Scottie, with whom he had a history of friction from their playing days.
