Canada McCall MacBain Scholarship 2025

The Canadian McCall MacBain Scholarship 2025 is currently accepting applications. For the summer and fall 2025 intake, it is a fully financed scholarship available to students from the United States, Canada, and other countries.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is intended for students wishing to enroll in McGill University’s Master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program. There will be 100 entrance awards and up to 30 full scholarships given out. For students residing outside of Canada, the entire scholarship will pay for tuition, monthly stipends, and plane tickets.

Professional Undergraduate Degree for Second Entry

 

Law (BCL/JD), dentistry (DMD), and medicine (MDCM)

 

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

 

• One of the following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the scholarship:
• If you are a student, you can apply and receive your
• undergraduate degree by August 2025.
• In the last five years, you have obtained your first bachelor’s
• degree (January 2019 or later).
• In 2024, you will be 30 years of age or younger, having
• received your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago.

You also need to qualify for the McGill University degree and language requirements.

 

Qualifications for English Language Proficiency

 

TOEFL: Internet-Based Test (IBT): 86 points total, including at least 20 points in each of the four sections
IELTS: a band score of at least 6.5.
Evidence of Expertise Not Necessary if

• English is the mother tongue, the first language one learns and uses on a daily basis.
• holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States or Canada, or plans to get one soon.
• has spent at least four years living, working, or attending college in a nation where English is recognized as the official primary language.
