Baseman Christian Walker

First baseman Christian Walker told reporters, “Marte’s been doing that for us all year,” according to the MLB website.

“I’ve been observing this man for the past four or five years. It is not unexpected. He’s among the best batters I’ve ever seen. When to let it fly, he knows.

He is aware of when to back off and toss a pitch to the outfield. He carries out his duties every day.

Now, everyone’s attention will be focused on Friday’s Game 4. Earlier in the series, the Phillies seemed untouchable, but the Diamondbacks will be looking to utilise Game 3 as a boost to tie the NLCS.
