Antimatter did not escape the influence of gravity
Antimatter did not escape the influence of gravity: About a century ago; The genius British physicist Paul Dirk predicted the existence of a mysterious substance in the universe that he called “antimatter.”
He said that anti-matter is a mysterious counterpart to ordinary matter. While matter consists of atoms, in which negatively charged electrons orbit around a positively charged nucleus, antimatter consists of positively charged electrons orbiting a negatively charged nucleus.
Since then, scientists have been trying to understand “antimatter” and how it responds to fundamental forces in the universe, including gravitational forces. Some say that gravity, which pulls ordinary matter down, has an opposite effect on antimatter, that is, lifts it up.
However, new experimental research, the results of which were published in the prestigious journal Nature, has decoded one of the biggest mysteries of physics in the world, as it says that “antimatter” does not escape the influence of gravity, as it falls down, like ordinary materials.
What is “antimatter”?
The existence of antimatter is a fundamental consequence of the laws of particle physics and symmetries that govern the universe. They arise naturally as a mirror image of ordinary matter due to symmetries in the fundamental forces of nature.
One of the fundamental principles of particle physics is the concept of symmetry. The laws of physics show a remarkable symmetry between matter and antimatter.

For every type of particle in ordinary matter (such as electrons, protons, and neutrons), there is an antiparticle that has the same mass but with the opposite charge and some other properties. These antiparticles include positrons (antielectrons), antiprotons, antineutrons, and others.
Big Bang
At the beginning of the universe, the Big Bang generated equal amounts of matter and antimatter. The two substances were supposed to combine with each other and disappear completely, but that was not the case. Ordinary matter – in some unknown way – has overcome “antimatter”, which is no longer available in our visible universe, and it is not entirely clear why this happened, which led to an imbalance between matter and antimatter in the universe.
