A STAR Graduate Scholarship for Singapore Fully Funded 2025

The Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (ASTAR) offers a fully financed scholarship opportunity called the A STAR Graduate Scholarship (AGS). Applicants with an EngD or PhD are eligible for the scholarship. Bachelor’s degree holders from abroad are eligible to apply straight away.

Up to four years of your PhD or EngD studies at Singapore’s independent universities will be funded by the A STAR Graduate Scholarship. Fellows can apply for the A STAR International fellowship to undertake post-doctoral training after completing their PhD or EngD studies. This is a fantastic opportunity that leads to citizenship in Singapore.

International recipients of A STAR graduate scholarships will be required to execute a bond and work for three years in Singaporean-owned businesses. Prior to applying for the PhD scholarships offered by A*STAR, a master’s degree is not required.

• Both Singaporeans and foreigners are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• For non-Singaporeans, a degree must have been earned.
• Express interest in an engineering or PhD program.
• possess at least a second upper-class honors degree, or its equivalent, in a pertinent field of study.
• We encourage applications from students who are in their final semester of undergraduate studies.
• The applicants’ enthusiasm in a career in research is significant.

Dedication to Service

Non-Singaporeans will execute a bond committing them to work for three years in Singaporean companies without being affiliated with any one company. The biomedical sciences, physical sciences, or engineering should be the focus of the work.
