Pakistan Railways Releases Special Eid Train Schedule
On the other hand, based on the weather department’s forecast, Pakistan will probably celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on June 17 (Monday). According to the Climate Data Processing Centre, Friday, June 7 is predicted to be the day that people will see the Zilhajj moon.
On June 6, the moon is expected to rise at 5:38 PM and set at 7:20 PM. It is likely to be seen because the moon will be visible for 72 minutes following sunset.
In order to simplify travel over the holiday, Pakistan Railways said on Wednesday that it will run three special trains for Eid-ul-Adha.
Two of these trains will leave Karachi. On June 14 at 6:30 PM, the first train will go to Peshawar and will only include economy class carriages.
On June 15 at 9:30 PM, the second train—which will consist of a combination of business, standard, and economy class coaches—will depart for Lahore. In addition, a third special train is scheduled to depart from Quetta, guaranteeing that visitors from different areas can get to their destinations in time for the celebration.
