In an interview with Times of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has finally discussed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal incarceration.

PM Modi expressed optimism that the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would not set a precedent for Indian democracy.

Taking a jab at the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, the prime minister stated that he was certain other politicians would not lack morality, in contrast to Kejriwal.

“I hope that this incident—CM being in jail—won’t set a precedent. Other politicians, in my opinion, won’t be so immoral or act in such a manner.

Kejriwal is the first chief minister in office to be taken into custody by a law enforcement official. In the Delhi excise policy case, the AAP founder was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21. He was later transferred to Tihar Jail.

According to PM Modi, the BJP’s ten-year rule gave young people opportunity in the public and commercial sectors as well as in entrepreneurship. Idia’s unemployment rate has decreased from 6% to 3.2%, according to PM Modi.

With Mudra alone, more than 8 crore new firms have been launched; according to PM Modi, the gig economy employs lakhs of young people and has raised labor force participation from 49.8% to 57.9%.

“I regularly attend Rozgar Melas which is the largest-ever drive to give government jobs where we have given recruitment letters to lakhs of youth,” Modi stated.

According to PM Modi, the BJP has a better chance of winning in South India this time. “Whenever we go in the south, the acceptance and affection shown by the people have been unprecedented,” remarked the prime minister.

Taking aim at the Congress and its allies, Prime Minister Modi stated that the people of South India had experienced vote-bank politics, division, corruption, and poor governance in previous regimes. “They see a ray of hope in BJP are consider us as a credible alternative,” Modi stated.

According to PM Modi, “One Nation, One Poll” will guarantee that the nation’s time, energy, and resources are used more wisely. “A high-level committee has submitted a report to President Droupadi Murmur…In our third term, concrete steps will be taken on this matter” .

The Prime Minister stated that one of the main goals of the BJP is the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). “We cannot be a nation where one community is progressing with the support of constitutional norms while another is stuck in a time warp due to appeasement” .
